Your Data in eAgronom is Safe
We do not disclose or share your personal data to third parties outside the eAgronom group, including State agencies, unless you request it or unless it is necessary for providing you the best service. eAgronom will not make your data available to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. The protection of your personal user data is important for us and when collecting or transferring information we use security technologies and procedures that protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure.
We do our best to effectively protect our clients and users as well as the joint communication against unauthorised access at any time. The data provided by you are only used by eAgronom in order to serve you better by answering your inquiries, supplying information, improving services and cooperating with other companies for joint projects. As far as eAgronom uses third party services required for the fulfilment of the contract with our clients, these third parties are bound to adhere to the same level of data protection standards as applied by eAgronom. For ensuring a high level of protection for our clients, eAgronom has signed Data Processing Agreements with all of our third party service providers.
1.3. eAgronom processes Client data on the basis of a contract between Client and eAgronom. A different legal basis may be specified when Client uses a mobile
1.5. As a company we strictly keep to the statutory provisions of the legal regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation.
2.1. Personal data – personal data that eAgronom holds confidential is any kind of information which it has acquired when offering its services and which enables to identify the Client.
2.2. Client – legal or natural person, who uses the services of eAgronom, including natural persons who use eAgronom on behalf of legal person (e.g. employees of Clients).
2.3. Data processing – any act performed with personal data, including the collection, recording, organisation, storage, alteration, disclosure, granting access to personal data, consultation and retrieval, use of personal data, communication, cross-usage, combination, closure, erasure or destruction of personal data or several of the aforementioned operations, regardless of the manner in which the operations are carried out or the means used.
3. Client data
3.1. For the purposes of improving our services for the Client or analysing marketing activities of eAgronom, we would like to adapt our navigation and information even more to the needs of our users. Our website, therefore, uses different technologies that allow us to optimise the user friendliness of our homepage on the basis of analyses of user behaviour patterns.
3.2. We process the following personal data: name, address, e-mail, phone number, natural persons’ connections to agricultural companies, Client behaviour when using the eAgronom services, errors Clients encounter on our website and data needed for fixing them, phone calls to eAgronom customer support, billing data, device data, IP addresses, data received from third parties (information from affiliates in our corporate group, our partners, or others that we use to make our own information better or more useful), location data, referring / exit pages and URLs, chat messages and contents of e-mails sent to eAgronom, certain information related to the business you represent such as number of employees and industry type.
3.3. When you use the Service by or through a mobile device, we may access, collect, monitor and/or remotely store “location data,” which may include GPS coordinates (e.g. latitude and/or longitude) or similar information regarding the location of your mobile device. Location data may be used in conjunction with personally identifiable information. Location data in mobile app is not shared with anyone except the user’s employer if such employer is a contractual client of eAgronom. Location data is encrypted and not visible to eAgronom’s employees.
3.4. Client is aware that when calling on eAgronom customer support number his/her call will be recorded to provide better customer support.
4. Purposes of data processing
4.1.1. provide services and information that you request;
4.1.3. Operate, maintain, enhance and provide all features of our website. We maintain the quality of eAgronom services and analyse security risks. We analyse users’ behaviour and preferences when using our services to understand and improve our services and develop new products. We also create “Aggregated Information,” which is a combination and analysis of information from multiple sources that helps identify or creates trends, benchmarks, summary metrics, or predictive algorithms, provided that we take reasonable steps to aggregate the information to prevent any data from being associated back to a specific individual. We will create Aggregated Information from information that other clients choose to share with us, along with your data.
4.1.4. Billing and account management. We may also contact you for administrative purposes or getting feedback on our product.
4.1.5. Marketing We may also use Client information for eAgronom own marketing or advertising purposes. Client can opt out of this at any time by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
5.1.6. Train eAgronom employees.
4.2. This policy does not limit the use of Client data in an anonymised form.
5. Sharing and disclosing data
5.1.2. eAgronom group companies.
5.1.3. Persons and organisations to whom it is necessary to disclose data in order to provide our Services to the Client if Client has requested it (e.g. State agriculture institutions).
5.1.4. With other entities in case of joint cooperation project between eAgronom and third party.
5.1.5. Persons to whom disclosing Client data is required by law.
5.1.6. Persons to whom it is necessary in order to protect and defend the legal rights of eAgronom.
7. For how long eAgronom stores personal data
7.1. Unless you request that your data be deleted as set out below in section 10.1.5. we will store personal data only as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected or if it is necessary in order to defend legal interests of eAgronom. If you close your account then we store data related to your account for 3 years in case you wish to return using our Services.
7.2. We will store Client data longer than 3 years when it is required by law or needed to defend or pursue legal claims.
7.3. Phone call recordings to customer support will be stored for one year.
8. How we protect your personal data
8.1. eAgronom considers privacy of the Client and personal data protection highly important. We use organisational, physical and technical security measures necessary to ensure integrity, availability and confidentiality of data.
8.2. These measures include confidentiality agreements with all employees and service providers, the use of encryption, rest encryption, protection of employee devices, other technical devices, information, IT-infrastructure, and internal networks.
8.3. The object of the activities ensuring security is to apply appropriate safeguards, mitigate and prevent risks.
9. International data transfer
9.1. All of our Services are controlled and operated in EU. Your data may be accessible in any country in EU where we have establishments or in which we engage service providers. However, please note that we may use third party service providers, for example analytics tools, which are not located within the EU or the European Economic Area or a country for which the European Commission has not issued a decision that the country would ensure an adequate level of data protection. When we transfer any of your data, we do so in compliance with applicable data protection laws and rely on the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework where appropriate or use approved Standard Contractual Clauses or other binding corporate rules, including contracts, internal rules and policies, or other legal mechanisms where necessary to help ensure an adequate level of protection. You can contact the Data Protection Officer listed above to obtain a copy of the data transfer agreement or any other information regarding the relevant safeguards.
10. Client’s rights
10.1. Client may at any time send us a request to e-mail [email protected] about using his/her rights. You have a right at any time:
10.1.1. access personal data concerning you. You have the right to request a copy of your personal data. Such request must be in writing. You can exercise this right by writing to us at [email protected]. Please note that this right is not absolute and we may not be able to provide you with certain information if providing it would interfere with another person’s rights (such as where providing the information we hold about you would reveal information about another person) or where another exemption applies.
10.1.2. demand the rectification of inaccurate personal data without unreasonable delay;
10.1.3. demand amendment of incomplete personal data considering the purposes of processing;
10.1.4. receive and transmit personal data. If you request it, we will provide you or a third party designated by you with a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly-used and machine readable format. If technically feasible we will transmit your data directly to third party at your request.
10.1.5. object to personal data processing. You may also object to our processing of your data for direct marketing purposes, in which case we will deem you to have opted-out of receiving marketing communications.
10.1.6. demand the erasure of personal data concerning you without unreasonable delay.
10.2. Please note that we will require you to verify your identity before responding to any requests.
10.3. In case the Client believes that personal data processing infringes his/her rights, the Client has a right to turn to data protection supervisory authority or to court.
10.4. We are not responsible for the information, including personal information, that you submit in any user-generated content services, such as posting a question or answer on any public facing portion of the platform.
10.5. Except as provided by law, we are not responsible nor liable for any third party practices.
